Hammer XMS™ Network Wide View
The Hammer XMS™ architecture is capable of providing a comprehensive view of a large national or global monitored network comprised of multiple distributed (regional) Hammer XMS or Hammer XMS/S7™ systems. This capability is based on the Network Wide View (NWV) application which provides a single point for user login and access to on-demand diagnostics and reporting applications.
The NWV application extends the coverage of Hammer XMS beyond a single region or large site and delivers network-wide correlation and report generation for an end-to-end view across all Hammer XMS and Hammer XMS/S7 systems.
Regionally or site-based Operations Servers provide the main storage and aggregation points for the individual region. The NWV application runs on the Network Wide Operations Server (NW OS). Empirix provides this platform as part of a turn-key solution, offering both redundant and simplex configurations.
