Hammer XMS Active™
Hammer XMS Active™ is an integrated complement to Empirix’s network monitoring solution, Hammer XMS™. Both applications share common software architecture that is implemented on the same Hammer XMS server and can integrate at the user display for test diagnostics and reporting results.
Hammer XMS Active is an application set of diagnostics and reporting tools associated with making test calls and measuring performance or service quality assessment. It may be also used for diagnostic troubleshooting to measure signaling and media quality within the network.
Active tests can be defined and scheduled for periodic invocation, with a 24 hour scrolling window showing pass, fail, or warning status on test results. Active tests may be between two Hammer XMS Active probes, from a Hammer XMS Active probe to a loopback point, or through one-way outbound or in-bound tests.
