Advanced multi-media IP network test platform
The Hammer G5 is an extremely flexible and scalable, multiprotocol and multi-media IP test platform used to verify the functionality, reliability and quality of core IP network communication devices, applications and services in isolation, in combination or with background load. The Hammer G5 verifies that these products and voice applications perform precisely as designed with advanced capabilities for IP load testing, VoIP and IMS testing, signaling and media functionality, real world test scenarios and the ability to emulate realistic user behavior.
Target test applications include:- IVR, voicemail, conference bridge, automated attendant, and unified messaging systems

- Class 5 features and other enhanced services

The Hammer G5 provides the following capabilities:- Flexibility - Graphically develop simple call flow scenarios or easily modify signaling messages and protocol behavior for even the most complex call scenarios
- Scalability - Scales from a single developer's solution with a few end points and expands up to hundreds of thousands of calls, as required, throughout the test lifecycle
- Multi-protocol – Capable of running multiple protocols simultaneously using the same tests and scripts, including: SIP, MGCP, NCS, H.248/Megaco, H.323, QSIG, Skinny and Unistim
- Multi-media - Supports many different narrowband and wideband codecs for wireline and wireless, as well as various real media types such as tones, DTMF, voice, fax, and video
- Integrated - Feature, , IP load testing, voice quality, signaling, and media are all in one platform controlled by a common user interface
